Abstract

The Southeast Sulawesi NTP index in June 2017 was 94.38, or decreased by 0.60 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 94.95. The NTP index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 88.58; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 88.68; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTPR) 90,23; Livestock Sub-sector (NTPT) 104,73; And Fisheries Sub-sector (NTNP) 113.50. While the National NTP Index of 100.53 or rose by 0.38 percent from the previous 100.15.
In June 2017, nationally 12 provinces experienced an increase in the NTP Index, 1 province did not experience any changes in index, and 20 other provinces experienced a decrease in index. The highest increase was recorded in Banten Province at 1.34 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Bangka Belitung province at 1.42 percent. Province that did not experience the change of NTP index was Riau Islands Province.
In June 2017, Southeast Sulawesi province recorded a 1.95 percent inflation in rural areas. This is due to an increase in the price index in all support groups: foodstuffs rose by 3.34 percent; Finished food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.96 percent; Housing 1.39 percent; Clothing group 1.47 percent; Health group 0.94 percent; Education, recreation and sports group 0.46 percent; As well as transportation and communication groups rose by 0.13 percent.
