Abstract

In June 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Konawe Regency will be 1.51 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.26. Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.65 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 0.04 percent; health group at 2.46 percent; transportation group by 1.40 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.03 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.58 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.59 percent. Several other expenditure group indices experienced a decline, namely: the clothing and footwear group by 0.57 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.19 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 1.99 percent. The education group did not experience changes in the index.
