The number of domestic air transport passengers in August 2020 was recorded at 61,804 people, an increase of 32.61 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 46,605 people.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers in August 2020 was recorded at 283,220 people, an increase of 19.60 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 236,802 people.
Cumulatively, the number of domestic air transport passengers in 2020 (January - August 2020) was recorded at 537,160 people, down 47.32 percent compared to the same period in the previous year (January - August 2019) which was recorded at 1,019,691 people.
Meanwhile, the number of domestic sea transport passengers in 2020 (January - August 2020) was recorded at 1,776,936 people, down 58.98 percent compared to the same period in the previous year (January - August 2019) which was recorded as many as 4,331,637 people.
