Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Konawe Regency will be 2.85 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.79. Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.49 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 0.04 percent; health group at 2.46 percent; transportation group by 1.15 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.52 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.50 percent. Several other expenditure group indices experienced a decline, namely: the clothing and footwear group by 0.03 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.50 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 1.99 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group at 0.15 percent. The education group did not experience a change in the index. The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Konawe Regency in April 2024 was 0.75 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Konawe Regency in April 2024 was 1.14 percent.
