Abstract

In July 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Konawe Regency was 0.79 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.86. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.91 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.08 percent; the health group by 2.46 percent; the transportation group by 1.40 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.03 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.71 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.61 percent. Several other expenditure group indices decreased, namely: the clothing and footwear group by 0.29 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 1.34 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group by 2.32 percent. The education group did not experience any changes in the index. The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate in Konawe Regency in July 2024 was 0.37 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Konawe Regency in July 2024 was 0.26 percent.
