Abstract

In December 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Konawe Regency was 0.22 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.81. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.47 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.22 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.86 percent; the health group by 2.46 percent; the transportation group by 0.64 percent; the education group by 0.30 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.72 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.90 percent. Several other expenditure group indices decreased, namely: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 1.25 percent and the information, communication, and financial services group by 2.32 percent. Meanwhile, the recreation, sports, and culture group did not experience any changes in the index. The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Konawe Regency in December 2024 was 0.17 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Konawe Regency in December 2024 was 0.22 percent.
