Abstract

In September 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Konawe Regency was 0.43 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.75.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 0.81 percent; health group by 2.46 percent; transportation group by 1.56 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.27 percent; education group by 0.30 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.72 percent; personal care and other services group by 1.43 percent;. Several other expenditure group indices decreased, namely: clothing and footwear group by 0.29 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 1.12 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.03 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 2.32 percent.

 The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Konawe Regency in September 2024 was 0.12 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate of Konawe Regency in September 2024 was 0.78 percent.
